For that reason I wanted a special theme for my new park. This ensures that I can easily come up with new attractions and it’s also much more inspiring. Pixel Continents Park will be my new project with the earth as main subject. It will not be a copy of existing buildings, monuments or attractions, but the feeling and atmosphere of every part of the world. It will not be easy, but a nice challenge.

Welcome

The first thing that I made is a (mini) parking lot and a big entrance. It contains all kinds of buildings from the different continents. In front of the building you will find a fountain with an abstract globe and the name of the park. This immediately sets the atmosphere of the park and what you can expect during your visit.

First coaster of Pixel Continents Park

Rainforests and jungles can be found everywhere in the world, also in this park in the form of two islands. On one of these islands you will find a spinning coaster, which is almost finished. So the first video will follow very soon on my YouTube Channel.

2000 hours

You probably will not believe it, but yesterday I played my 2000th hour in Planet Coaster! After all those hours I still do not get bored and get enough inspiration. After 9 months and hundreds of hours later Pixelland is finished. This is my fifth mega park and mainly focuses on realism, different themes and even more coasters than before. The top view of Pixelland is breathtaking. You can see the structure of the park, including the surrounding area with the parking and roads.

Pixelland has a large hotel, including a swimming pool and private parking. In the park you will find numerous attractions and themes. The park has 7 roller coasters, 2 water rides and 14 rides. I tried to bring as many realistic details as possible to the park so you get a real and unique theme park feeling when visiting Pixelland. I hope you will have a lot of fun.

The problem is only noticeable when you open a large park. This should not be a mega park, one third of the map filled gives already problems. This makes it for me impossible to continue working on my fifth mega park Pixelland. That’s sad because the park is 98% finished and only a few minor adjustments have to be made. If the bug hadn’t occurred, the park would be released this weekend.

As long as this bug is present, there is no reason to upload the park to the Steam Workshop. Everyone would get lots of framedrops and the park wouldn’t be playable. For that reason I have to say that the release of Pixelland has been delayed.

I know that the game does not have the best performance, but large parks were always playable, this is no longer the case since the last update. I hope Frontier finds the bug and resolves it as quickly as possible.

But I am also enthusiastic about the 81 new vehicle items, 60 building items, 24 animated scenery items, 85 static scenery items, 20 special effects and spectacular new audio! But there is more, all Planet Coaster players get a free update with lots of new possibilities!

Update 1.6 including PixelWess89 items!

We have received an interesting new Hotel feature, triggerable flexicolour, glass! and path tunneling. But the best is triggerable time of day for dark rides and we can finally pause the track rides! This allows us to create an even more intense experience, I am very happy with it!

Be sure to check the simulator ride style videos for billboards! I am one of the creators who has been given the opportunity to create an exciting experience for this update. I am very proud of it! Check it out!

The objectives

Of course, this scenario also has some objectives. Four in each category, can you complete them and build a three star theme park?

Easy✨
• Employ 2 Mechanics before the end of April year 1
• Employ 5 Janitors before the end of May year 1
• Build a total of 5 Rides before the end of August year 1
• Train 10 staff to Master before the end of June year 2

Medium✨
• Catch 5 pickpockets
• Make a fireworks display that holds 300 guests’ attention
• Build a total of 8 Rides while operating for 12 months
• Build a Coaster at least 7.0 excitement and 4.0 fear. At most 2.0 nausea and 3 inversions, no drops more than 40 m and open for 2 months.

Hard✨
• Sustain a monthly Profit of $4,500 for 3 months
• Have no Staff member leave for 5 months
• Build a total 6 coasters at most 6.0 fear and 2.0 nausea while open for 3 months
• Achieve a Park value of $200,000 with a park rating of at least 1500 with all loans cleared

Welcome to Pixel’s Christmas experience! Four months after Pixel Island and Pixel World earlier this year, I can proudly present Arctic Valley. This is my fourth theme park and this time the park is situated in a valley in the north of the Planet Coaster world. It’s winter, the snow has fallen and everything is decorated for the winter season.

Walking through the park is a unique experience, all attractions are fully themed and it has a real winter wonderland atmosphere. Got lost? Check the guidemap (see screenshots). Personal note: It’s definitely highly recommended to visit the park during night time, the park is fully optimised and it gives you an extra magical experience!

In Arctic Valley your wishes come true, you can meet your heroes and experience exciting adventures. In every corner of the park you can see the enchanting castle. In one of the towers you can even discover Amelie’s room.

In the Valley you can visit Santa’s workshop, the Candy Cave, dream away at the Christmas market or watch Amelie’s show at the Pixel Arena. Finish your visit in style with the Pixel Wishes fireworks show.
